Coolrite Installation Terms and Conditions for Wall Split Units

Includes:

  • Indoor Unit mounted to the inside wall of the room.
  • Outdoor Unit mounted onto a set of brackets, on same outside wall not exceeding 3 meter of piping between Indoor and Outdoor Unit. All additional piping will be billed for accordingly.
  • Installation time approximately 3-4 hours per wall split.
  • 12 Month Workmanship Guarantee (This does not cover the standard 12 month warranty on the product).

Excludes:

  • Where required electrical connections for air-conditioners to be carried out by a qualified electrician from distribution board (not included in installation charges).
  • Regarding Electrical Connections we can usually utilise and will try an existing plug point for air-conditioners up to and including 18000 Btu/hr provided that the circuit being utilised is not overloaded with any other appliances. Should the existing point not be successful and or any air-conditioners larger that 18000 Btu/hr we would then require a dedicated electrical connection (not included in installation charges).
  • All electrical connections would exclude a COC certificate. This will be charged extra should it be required.
  • Depending on your location additional travelling costs may be incurred. Please enquire about this if you are not sure.
  • Additional gas piping, drainage piping or other materials will be billed separately and will be required to be settled on the day of installation either by completing an online purchase or making an EFT payment. Please let us know if EFT payment would be preferred so we can send you an invoice accordingly.
  • A pre-installation form is required to be completed before all installations. Should the pre-installation for not be completed before hand, Coolrite can not be held liable for any additional charges resulting from additional installation requirements. The pre-installation form will be emailed to you.
  • If the installation takes place at heights where scaffolding is required additional cost may be incurred. This must be discussed with Coolrite.
  • Any repair or plumbing cost in the event of accidentally drilling into any water or plumbing pipes that are concealed in the walls unless otherwise notified to Coolrite in writing before installation commences.
  • Coolrite does not accept responsibility for sub sequential damage as a result of the use of lift up pumps/condensation pumps. Coolrite recommends all installations be completed without the use of a lift up pump/condensation pump as far as possible.
  • It is the responsibility of the client to ensure all valuables and property in the room that the installation is taking place in is protected against any damage. Although we have 100% confidence and trust in the integrity of our professional installers, it is advised to ensure there is no possibility for accidental damage. It is also recommended to have someone present at the time of installation.
  • Excludes De-Installation of existing unit.
  • Any civil, building or painting works.

Warranty Claims:

  • All labour charges for warranty claims on installations not executed by an approved Coolrite installer will be for the customer’s account.

Coolrite Installation Terms and Conditions for Swimming Pool Heat Pumps

  • Includes 1 x Set of Brackets.
  • Limited to Installation within 3m of the Swimming Pool Circulation Pump. Additional material to be charged for.
  • Includes 2 x Isolation Valves and 1 x Bypass Valves.
  • Includes Electrical Installation to the existing Pool Pump DB Board. Excludes Electrical Installation For 19kW and larger units. Should the supply to the pool pump DB be insufficient, an additional electrical work will be required and is clients responsibility.
  • Installations in areas outside major metropolis or in outlying areas must first be confirmed with Coolrite as the closest installer may need to charge additional for traveling. If there is not an installer in the area, a refund will be processed.
  • Excludes De-Installation of existing unit.
  • All building work is excluded from this installation cost.
